Dra. Stacey
Rotta
Dr. Stacey Rotta is a general surgeon with expertise in burns and surgical critical care. She also assists us with post-operative care as a specialist, working closely with Dr. Pirko to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care throughout their recovery process.
Dr. Stacey Rotta is a general surgeon with expertise in burns and surgical critical care. She also assists us with post-operative care as a specialist, working closely with Dr. Pirko to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care throughout their recovery process. She completed medical school at UC Davis, general surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and fellowship training at UC Davis. She worked at Maine Medical Center for several years before joining the team at Ideal Plastic Surgery.
She is originally from Quincy, California and attended Santa Clara University prior to completing medical school at the University of California, Davis. Her surgical training took place at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut and she has burn fellowship training from Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, UC Davis, and Shriner’s Children’s hospital in Sacramento. She worked in Portland, Maine for three years prior to returning to California to be closer to family. She is pleased to be part of the excellent group of physicians at Ideal Plastic Surgery and looks forward to providing attentive care to our patients, both in and out of the operating room.
Dr. Stacey completed her General Surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. She then pursued a Burn Surgery fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, followed by an additional fellowship in Burns and Surgical Critical Care at the University of California, Davis, and Shriners Children’s Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Combined Sciences and a Bachelor of Religious Studies from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.
