Bascone
Dr. Bascone is a medical doctor currently working at Ideal Plastic Surgery, after completing a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship with our team. Originally from New York, Dr. Bascone earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua, West Indies (2016).
Dr. Bascone is a medical doctor currently working at Ideal Plastic Surgery, after completing a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship with our team. Originally from New York, Dr. Bascone earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua, West Indies (2016). He was an outstanding student, winning the John Ham Lacrosse Scholarship (2007) in Albany, NY, and receiving the award for distinguished students in lacrosse during his time at university. He is fluent in English and is also proficient in Italian. He is an avid sports enthusiast and competes in Ironman triathlons.
He studied medicine at the American University of Antigua, West Indies. He was a general surgery resident (PGY1) at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown (2017-2018) and a general surgery resident (PGY2) at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), Farmington (2018-2019). Additionally, he was an experimental fellow in plastic surgery at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, and in microsurgery.
He completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in healthcare administration at Plymouth State University, New Hampshire, where he is also a member of the Honor Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Human Biology from the University of Albany, New York, and was a Herndon B. Lehr Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
