NECKLIFT
The ideal neck surgery is intended to improve sagging on the skin of the neck and around the jaw to recreate a firm and youthful appearance. PROCEDURE
This procedure is done under general anesthesia and usually lasts between 1 to 3 hours. During the process, the surgeon addresses the excess skin and fat under the chin and the noticeable neck bands that appear when the neck muscles begin to separate.
RECOVERY
Patients can expect discomfort, swelling, and bruising after the neck lift procedure. These usually disappear after a few days, and patients can return to work after a week. Strenuous physical activity should be avoided for a minimum of 2 weeks.
RESULTS
The results of the ideal neck lift are permanent. Generally, there is slight swelling that will diminish over time. The incisions are discreet and tend to fade over time.
