One of the most recurring questions among patients is whether it is possible to have a Brazilian Butt Lift and a Tummy Tuck simultaneously. The answer is BBL and Tummy Tuck, together but not mixed up.
It is a fact that the successful results of any surgical procedure depend, to a great extent, on the patient’s postoperative care, and the surgeries that concern us in this opportunity are no exception.
You may have heard that some medical centers perform both techniques in a single session, which is counterproductive. At Ideal Plastic Surgery, your safety in the operating room and your satisfaction out of it is our priority, so we prepare for you two reasons why you should take a reasonable time between both procedures:
- From the fat extracted from the abdomen in the BBL, fat cells that will be transferred to the buttocks are taken. These cells need minimal care to survive in their new ecosystem, so you must lie on your front. Sitting or lying on your back during the first few weeks will put pressure on the buttock area, which will cause the cells to be reabsorbed.
- In the case of the Tummy Tuck, the opposite happens; since the abdomen is the operated area, you must rest on your back.
If both surgeries were performed simultaneously, how could you rest? That is why at Ideal Plastic Surgery, we only perform one procedure at a time, allowing our patients to have an excellent post-surgical rest that will be decisive when showing the results.
Our clinic in Sacramento complies with all safety and risk prevention protocols. With all our operating rooms certified, we are leaders in plastic surgery, including BBL and Tummy Tuck.
