Your fat transfer procedure can be used to treat your whole face or just targeted areas. It can also be done in combination with other anti-aging procedures such as Chin Augmentation, Facelift, Eyelid Lift or Mid-FaceLift. You will be made comfortable with local anesthetic or IV sedation before Dr. Leong begins. He will then harvest fat from your abdomen, hips or buttocks (where excess fat abounds) using a gentle suction technique called liposuction. The harvested fat is then treated with unusable cells removed before being injected into the treatment area. This is a minimally invasive procedure, but some bruising and swelling may occur at the injection sites. This resolves quickly over a few days. Your results are immediate and long lasting – usually permanent.
