Am I a good candidate for facial liposuction?
If you are a healthy man or woman who wants to take a few years off your face and neck by eliminating excess fatty deposits – you may be a good candidate. During your personal consultation with Dr. Leong, he will determine if facial liposuction is a good option for you and will tailor a treatment plan to meet your specific needs and goals.

Is facial liposuction painful?
There is some discomfort with any medical/cosmetic procedure. However, most of our patients experience only a few days of mild discomfort, easily addressed with oral pain medications.

How does facial liposuction take years off the face?
As we age it is normal for excess fatty deposits to become more visible. This goes along with loss of skin elasticity which shows up as saggy jowls, droopy eyelids, flat cheeks and much more. Removing the prominent fat deposits – such as in the chin – helps to restore a more youthful contour which makes the face and chin look years younger.

How long will the procedure take?
If you are having facial liposuction done by itself – your procedure will take about an hour. If you (like many of our patients do) choose to combine it with a NeckLift, Mid-FaceLift or Implants procedure – it will take more time.

What is recovery like after facial liposuction?
Swelling, bruising and a little general discomfort is normal and to be expected. Dr. Leong’s patients typically recover after a day of rest. Some patients return to work right after their procedure – so it depends upon what you’re having done. The swelling and bruising goes away a little each day until it is gone in about a week.

Will insurance pay for my facial liposuction?
Insurance does not cover cosmetic procedures – so it probably will not pay for it.

Is there any financing available for facial liposuction?
Yes – today there are many cosmetic procedures that can be financed with Care Credit financing.
