Rhinoplasty

View 1: Right Lateral
This is a 29 year old anesthetist from Pittsburgh. She was unhappy with the moderate bump on the dorsum of her nose and also felt her nasal tip was somewhat bulbous. She had considered a rhinoplasty for many years. Because of her work as an anesthetist she had many opportunities to observe different plastic surgeons at work! This lateral view of the surgical result shows a nicely reduced nasal dorsum. Note that the nose was a little over-projected (the nasal tip is a little too far away from the face) in the pre-operative picture and this has been corrected in the post-operative picture. The nose has a more feminine profile and interacts with the rest of her face in a more graceful way.

View 2: Right Oblique
This view shows the reduced height of the dorsum and refined nasal tip.

View 3: Left Oblique
This view once again shows the reduced height of the dorsum. If you look closely at the left eye you can see that the nose is partially blocking the view of the left eye in the pre-operative view, but not in the post-operative view. As an added benefit, the patient reported improved nasal breathing after the procedure.
