Rhinoplasty
View 1: Right Lateral
This is a 71 year old gentleman who had increasing difficulty breathing through his nose and was concerned that his nose was “growing”. As people age they often perceive that their nose is getting bigger. This is not really the case. What’s actually happening is that the tip of their nose is slowly drooping downwards, which gives the impression that the nose is getting longer. This lateral view shows how the tip was elevated, improving both the appearance and function of the nose. If there is substantial problems with nasal breathing, insurance will typically cover this surgery.
