Tear Trough Deformity Correction Overview
Correcting the tear trough deformity with a filler like Restylane® or Juvederm® is performed in the office. The skin is sterilized with alcohol and a numbing cream or small amount of local anesthetic can be used. The actual injection in this area takes a couple of minutes and the results are immediately visible.
First consults are critical – they should always be done face-to-face (surgeon and patient) and not delegated to other staff. During your initial consultation Dr. Leong listens carefully to your concerns and develops the correct treatment plan in partnership with you. Ensuring the best outcome requires developing a joint understanding of what the goals are how best to proceed.
