Laser Hair Removal Overview
The process of permanent hair reduction involves using the laser beam (intense pulsed light) to target the hair follicles. Since hair grows in cycles, it is usually necessary to do a series of treatments to impact all of the hairs in any area. A treatment can last from a few minutes to several hours depending upon the size of and number of areas you are having treated. The treatment is not painful but a topical anesthetic may be used to ensure your complete comfort during treatment. There is little to no downtime involved and most of Dr. Leong’s patients return to work right after a treatment.
