
Dr. Pirko, a native of Germany and Peru, is fluent in three languages: German, Spanish and English, and brings a variety of international experiences to his profession. He began his career in Plastic Surgery in 2005, training at the University of Chicago.
He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has given over 100 lectures on plastic surgery nationally and internationally. He has been as associate professor at UC Davis for 12 years and continues to provide surgeries at Shriners Hospital for children. Dr. Pirko is an award-winning plastic surgeon who has been recognized not only for excellence in patient care, but also for excellence in education and social responsibility. He has published dozens of scientific articles and book chapters; he is also -+a member of the editorial board and reviewer of Plastic Surgery publications.

Dr. Deb is one of the most respected and recognized surgeons in the plastic surgery community. Dr. Johnson received her medical degree and plastic surgery residency training from the prestigious Stanford University. She continued with fellowships at Clinica Planas in Barcelona and the Institut Francais de la Main in Paris.
She is not only certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery but was elected a Director of this Board, serving as Secretary-Treasurer and the Chair of the Continuing Certification Committee. Debra Johnson is a Past-President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.
She currently serves as a Trustee for theASPS and as the Legislative Committee Co-Chair for the CSPS. Dr. Johnson participates in the Breast Device Collaborative Community under the FDA and as a member of the ASPS Expert-to-Expert, Surgeon Group answering plastic surgeons’ questions regarding Breast Implant Associated-Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).
Dr. Debra Johnson loves living and working in Sacramento but spends the weekends in Napa, where she works on a small farm where she produces olive oil, cabernet sauvignon grapes, as well as an abundant vegetable and fruit garden. She loves her children, Gabriela and Pablo, her cat Murs, and her grand-dog Tho.

Dr. Boone is a native of the southeastern U.S., and his medical career began at the Medical College of Georgia. Subsequently, he completed 5 years of General Surgery training at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Dr. Boone excelled in his surgical training and was even awarded consultant of the year. During his time in Kansas City, he fell in love with the art of plastic surgery and completed 3 years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Chattanooga.
He has been recognized on several occasions for demonstrating humanistic qualities in medicine, which is why he has an acceptance into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and a nomination for the Harold Alper, MD, Humanitarian Award at UTHSC Chattanooga. Dr. Boone enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them identify their needs to provide IDEAL care for them to become their best version.
When Dr. Boone is not seeing his patients, he enjoys spending time with his partner and his two goldendoodles. In addition, he enjoys being out in nature doing activities such as hiking, skiing, lake and river sports, camping and relaxing with music in a hammock. He also enjoys traveling, especially to places with good food and wine.
